These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the RV Service Vault mobile application (“App”) operated by Stonepath Studio (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a company based in Florida. By creating an account or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Use of the App
Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to use RV Service Vault. By using the App you confirm you meet this requirement.
Your account: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
Permitted use: RV Service Vault is for your personal use to track and manage maintenance, fuel, documents, and records related to your recreational vehicles. You may not use the App for any commercial purpose without our written consent.
Prohibited conduct: You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its systems
- Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on the rights of others
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
- Use automated means to access the App without our permission
2. Subscription Plans
Free Plan: RV Service Vault offers a free plan with limited features as described in the App. Free plan limitations include a maximum of 1 RV, 25 total records, and 10 document uploads.
Premium Plan: Premium features are available by subscription. Current pricing is displayed in the App and on the App Store listing. Pricing is subject to change with notice.
Billing: Premium subscriptions are billed through Apple’s App Store using Apple’s in-app purchase system. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings.
Refunds: Subscription refunds are handled by Apple according to Apple’s refund policies. Stonepath Studio does not process refunds directly for in-app purchases.
Free trial: If a free trial is offered, it will be clearly described in the App. Your subscription begins at the end of the trial period unless cancelled before the trial ends.
3. Your Content
Ownership: You retain ownership of all content you upload or create in RV Service Vault, including service records, documents, photos, and notes (“Your Content”).
License to us: By uploading content to RV Service Vault you grant Stonepath Studio a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the App’s features to you. We do not claim ownership of Your Content and do not use it for any other purpose.
Your responsibility: You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter. RV Service Vault displays the information you provide — we do not verify the accuracy of service records, mileage, costs, or other data you enter.
AI-generated content: Maintenance recommendations and OCR extractions are generated by AI and may contain errors. Always verify AI-generated suggestions against your vehicle’s owner’s manual and consult a qualified technician for maintenance decisions. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional mechanical advice.
4. AI Features and Limitations
RV Service Vault uses AI (powered by Anthropic Claude) for document scanning (OCR) and maintenance recommendations. These features are provided as conveniences and have limitations:
- OCR extraction may not perfectly read all invoices, especially handwritten, damaged, or low-quality documents. Always review extracted data before saving.
- Maintenance recommendations are based on general manufacturer guidelines and may not account for your specific driving conditions, climate, modifications, or individual vehicle history. They are suggestions, not professional advice.
- AI features require an active internet connection and depend on third-party services. We cannot guarantee their availability at all times.
5. Document Storage
Documents you upload are stored securely in Cloudflare R2 cloud storage. While we implement reasonable security measures, no cloud storage system is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining backup copies of important documents. Stonepath Studio is not liable for loss of documents due to technical failures, accidental deletion, or circumstances beyond our control.
6. Resale Export Feature
The Prepare for Sale / Resale Export feature generates a service history report based on the information you have entered in the App. The accuracy of this report depends entirely on the accuracy of the information you have provided. Stonepath Studio makes no representations about the completeness or accuracy of any resale export and is not responsible for how prospective buyers or dealers use or interpret the generated report.
7. Disclaimers
As-is service: RV Service Vault is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
No professional advice: Nothing in RV Service Vault constitutes professional mechanical, legal, financial, or insurance advice. Always consult qualified professionals for decisions about your vehicle’s maintenance, insurance coverage, or financial matters.
Third-party services: The App integrates with third-party services including Anthropic, Cloudflare, RevenueCat, and Apple. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of these third-party services.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Florida law, Stonepath Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of RV Service Vault, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or damage to your vehicle resulting from reliance on AI-generated maintenance recommendations.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stonepath Studio and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
10. Account Termination
By you: You may delete your account at any time through the Account settings in the App. Deleting your account cancels your Premium subscription (future renewals only — Apple’s refund policy governs past charges) and permanently deletes your data within 30 days.
By us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the App in a way that harms other users or our systems. We will notify you before termination except in cases of serious violation.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App and updating the effective date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using the App and delete your account.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of Florida.
13. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Stonepath Studio regarding your use of RV Service Vault and supersede any prior agreements.
