Privacy Policy — RV Service Vault

This Privacy Policy describes how Stonepath Studio, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the RV Service Vault mobile application (“App”). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us.
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Account information: Name, email address, and password when you create an account, or authentication data when you sign in with Apple or Google
- RV information: Vehicle details including year, make, model, mileage, VIN, and license plate number
- Service records: Maintenance history, dates, mileage, vendor names, costs, and categories
- Documents: Receipts, invoices, warranties, registration, inspection reports, and other uploaded files and images
- Fuel records: Fill-up dates, gallons, cost, odometer readings, and discount card information
- Memberships: Membership names, numbers, and expiration dates
- Insurance and contracts: Provider names, policy numbers, coverage dates, and premium amounts
- Photos: Images captured or uploaded for document scanning, condition snapshots, and photo logs
- Profile information: Display name and optional profile photo
Information Collected Automatically
- Device identifiers: We collect your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS) for the purpose of measuring the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. This collection only occurs if you grant permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- App usage data: The Facebook SDK collects app install events, app open events, and in-app purchase events to measure advertising campaign performance. This data is shared with Meta (Facebook) for ad attribution purposes.
- Purchase information: Subscription status and purchase history are processed through RevenueCat, our subscription management provider, to manage your Premium subscription.
Information Processed by Third-Party AI Services
- Document scanning (OCR): When you scan a document, the image is sent to Anthropic’s Claude AI service for text extraction. Anthropic processes this data according to their privacy policy and does not use it to train AI models.
- AI maintenance recommendations: Your RV’s make, model, year, and mileage are sent to Anthropic’s Claude AI service to generate personalized maintenance suggestions.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the App’s functionality
- Store and back up your RV service records, documents, and data in the cloud
- Process document scans using AI-powered OCR
- Generate AI-based maintenance recommendations
- Send service reminders and notifications
- Manage your subscription through RevenueCat
- Measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns through Meta (Facebook) ad attribution
- Respond to your support requests
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Advertising and Tracking
Facebook SDK
We use the Meta (Facebook) SDK solely for the purpose of measuring the effectiveness of our app install advertising campaigns. The SDK collects:
- Device advertising identifier (IDFA): Used to attribute app installs to specific ad campaigns. This identifier is only collected if you grant permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt that appears when you first open the App.
- App events: Install events, app open events, and purchase events are sent to Meta to measure ad campaign performance.
We do not display any advertisements within the App. The Facebook SDK is used exclusively for measuring our own advertising campaigns, not for serving ads to you.
App Tracking Transparency
On iOS 14.5 and later, we will ask for your permission before tracking your activity across other companies’ apps and websites. If you decline, no advertising identifier will be collected or shared with Meta, and the App will continue to function normally with no loss of features.
Opting Out
You can opt out of ad tracking at any time:
- When the App Tracking Transparency prompt appears, tap “Ask App Not to Track”
- Or go to your iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking and disable tracking for RV Service Vault
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only with the following third-party service providers, and only as necessary to operate the App:

5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is securely stored in the cloud and tied to your account. We use industry-standard security practices including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Secure cloud storage through Cloudflare R2
- Authenticated access controls
- Optional biometric authentication (Face ID)
No system is completely secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at [email protected].
6. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: View your data within the App at any time
- Export: Download a complete copy of all your data (available under Account > Export My Data)
- Delete: Permanently delete your account and all associated data (available under Account > Delete Account)
- Tracking opt-out: Decline or revoke advertising tracking permission at any time through iOS Settings
- Notifications: Control push notification preferences in the App’s Settings
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data — including service records, documents, photos, and personal information — is permanently deleted from our systems. This action cannot be undone.
8. Children’s Privacy
RV Service Vault is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy in the App and updating the effective date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
