Getting Started
1. Create Your Account
Download RV Service Vault from the App Store and create a free account using your email address, or sign in with Apple or Google for quick setup.
2. Add Your RV
Tap ‘Add your first RV’ and enter your vehicle details: year, make, model, current mileage, horsepower, and fuel type. You can add multiple RVs to your garage.
3. Start Logging
Log service records manually or scan invoices and receipts using the built-in camera or photo library. The AI-powered OCR will automatically extract vendor, date, cost, and line item details from your documents.
4. Set Up Reminders
Configure service reminders based on mileage or time intervals. The app will also suggest reminders automatically when you scan invoices with recognizable service types.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I scan a receipt or invoice?
When logging a service record, tap ‘Scan a document to auto-fill’ at the top of the form. You can take a photo with your camera, select from your photo library, or upload a file. The AI will extract vendor, date, cost, and line items automatically.
Can I add multiple RVs?
Free accounts support 1 RV. Premium accounts can add unlimited RVs to their garage, each with their own independent service history, reminders, and documents.
How do I set up service reminders?
Go to the Reminders tab and tap the + button to create a new reminder. Set the service type, due date, and optionally a mileage trigger. You can also customize default service intervals in Settings under ‘Customize Service Intervals.’
Is my data secure?
Yes. Your maintenance records, documents, and reminders are securely backed up to the cloud and tied to your account. You can access your data from any device by signing in. You can also sign in with Face ID for quick, secure access.
How do I export my data?
Premium users can export service records as CSV files. All users can export their complete data as a ZIP archive from the Account page under ‘Export My Data.’
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through the App Store. Go to Settings on your iPhone > tap your name > Subscriptions > RV Service Vault > Cancel Subscription. Your Premium features will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings > tap your profile > scroll to the bottom > ‘Delete Account.’ This will permanently delete your account and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.
What RV types are supported?
RV Service Vault supports Class A, Class B, Class C, Fifth Wheel, and Trailer motorhomes and towables.
Troubleshooting
Document scan isn’t working
Make sure you’ve granted camera and photo library permissions to RV Service Vault in your iPhone Settings. If scanning returns an error, try taking the photo again with better lighting and ensure the document is flat and fully visible in the frame.
Reminders aren’t sending notifications
Check that notifications are enabled for RV Service Vault in Settings > Notifications. Also verify that ‘Service reminders’ is toggled on in the app’s Settings page.
App shows empty screens after signing in
This can occasionally happen during a brief loading period after signing in. Close and reopen the app. If the issue persists, sign out and sign back in from the Settings page.
Purchase or subscription issues
All purchases are processed through the App Store. If a purchase doesn’t reflect in the app, try restoring purchases from the Account page. For billing issues, contact Apple Support.
